2008 heralded the return of the Mustang Bullitt, a special edition variant of the Mustang GT, the last version of which was produced in 2001. The 2008 Bullitt is reminiscent of the Dark Highland Green GT-390 fastback Mustang driven by Steve McQueen in the 1968 film of the same name. Designed with subtlety in mind, the 2008 version is only available in Dark Highland Green or Black exterior paint and is stripped of its spoiler and GT fender emblems; the faux gas cap on the deck lid is replaced by a unique Bullitt version. The Mustang GT's standard fog light-equipped grille is replaced with the base V6 style grille sans the famous Mustang running horse logo. The car rides on unique Dark Argent Gray 18-inch cast-aluminum wheels with matching brake calipers and uses larger, 3.5 inch exhaust tips to replace the Mustang GT's standard 2.5 inch tips. The car was not sold with side (quarter) window louvers, as shown in this picture. However, the side louvers are a common addition among owners since it is also similar to the 1968 Mustang fastback. The 2008 Bullitt arrived at US dealers in February 2008 with a starting MSRP of $31,075. According to the 2009 Mustang catalog, the Bullitt package was available on manual transmission Mustang GT Premium coupes as a regular production option; the same color restrictions apply. This is a 1/25 2008 Mustang Bullitt model kit produced by Revell! The body has been molded in white and will need to be painted to your specifications. Additional features include: - Detailed 325hp V8 with new cold air engine intake - Special 5-spoke wheels and grille with no chrome trim - Authentic factory stock detailing decals - Molded in white, silver, black & clear with chrome plated parts and black vinyl tires Glue & paints are required but NOT included.
