The early 1970's saw the end of the muscle car era and their large displacement V8 engines. No longer able to use horsepower as a selling tool, the auto company executives looked away from the engineers and instead to the designers. The new GM lineup of mid-size cars for 1973 featured "colonnade" styling that found wide acceptance in the marketplace, becoming best-sellers. Of the five years that featured this styling, many feel the '77 Monte Carlo was the best looking of them all.
Features include:
•Easy snap-together assembly, no gluing or painting needed
•Highly detailed chassis and interior
•Adjustable front and rear suspension provides many different low-rider poses
•Optional custom peel 'n stick graphic decals
•Illustrated assembly instructions
